Mimir introduces a brand-new comment and review feature that allows users to add searchable comments, discuss, approve, and improve their content - all from inside Mimir.
Bergen, September 11th: Mimir, the cloud-native video production and collaboration platform for professionals, now allows users to add frame-accurate comments in-flight to any asset. The whole workflow takes place inside the item page from a new comments tab, so users do not have to switch workflows to collaborate and comment.

Ready, set, collaborate!
Comments can be added while media plays, or you can set an in-point and start typing. To make them easier to work with, comments appear as icons on the item timeline.
Comment functionalities include
- Invite external collaborators to review, comment, and approve your work
- Assign comments as tasks to users
- Add reactions
- Edit comments
- Reply to comments and chat in a threaded discussion
- Resolve and re-open threads with a single click
- Quickly find annotations
- Search all comments
- Download comments
Mimir is about finding stuff fast and getting it into your timeline, so of course comments become searchable in Mimir. And as a system built around collaboration, Mimir naturally supports multiple users commenting simultaneously, letting high-speed collaboration meet cloud-native asset management.
