Work with all your Mimir based assets in Blackmagic Design's DaVinci Resolve editing, color correction, visual effects and audio post production software.
Bergen, September 4th: DaVinci Resolve Studio users can now enjoy single click import of media assets from Mimir. In addition, it is possible to export a sequence from Mimir to Resolve with all subclips, and export finished edits back to Mimir.

It’s a kind of magic
The DaVinci Resolve project file is moved to Mimir along with the assets, which means anyone anywhere can download it to continue editing the project later - easily relinking media files and picking up where the last editor or colorist left off.
“This will open the Mimir world of cloud-native asset management to DaVinci Resolve users - and make one of the world’s most-loved editing solutions a great choice for Mimir customers. I have been blown away by how fast this integration came together on both sides, highlighting the power of continuous deployment and agile software development, ” says Mimir CTO Steinar Søreide
“Using the DaVinci Resolve workflow integrations, Mimir is able to seamlessly integrate their cloud based asset management with Resolve. This allows time sensitive operations like newsrooms and sport productions to use the benefits of cloud connectivity and media management with the low latency benefits of working on your local computer for editing, color correction, motion graphics and audio post," said Grant Petty, Blackmagic Design CEO. "We can’t wait to see how production and post workflows will change with this new interconnectivity."
